CAR PARK
Competitors are required to use the car park for the Visitors’ Clubhouse. The Scottish Golf Union and Gullane Golf Club cannot accept responsibility for any damage to cars.

CATERING
Catering will be available in Gullane GC’s Visitors’ Clubhouse as follows:
Saturday 31st March, 7.30am - 5:00pm
Sunday 1st April, 7.00am – 6.00pm

All food and beverage is at the competitors own expense.

CLUBHOUSE
The Visitors’ Clubhouse will be open from 7.00am. Competitors and their guests may use the clubhouse facilities.

Casual wear is acceptable but must be smart. THE WEARING OF CAPS & HATS, JEANS, SHORTS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS AND TRAINING SHOES IS NOT PERMITTED. Shorts are permitted if tailored.

MOBILE PHONES ARE PROHIBITED IN THE VICINITY OF THE CLUBHOUSE AND THE COURSE.

Changing facilities and showers are available in the changing rooms.

CADDIE CARS and YARDAGE BOOKS
Yardage books can be purchased and trolleys are available for hire on a “first come first serve” basis from the Professional’s Shop.

COURSE & PLAY
Competitors must register at the mobile championship office at least 30 minutes prior to their starting time. Starting times are shown on the official draw sheet.

Each competitor will be issued with the local rules, pin positions and pace of play guidelines when registering.

COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE 1st TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that late arrival within 5 minutes of their starting time will lead to a two shot penalty. Those arriving in excess of 5 minutes will be disqualified under Rule 6-3.

Scorecards must be returned to the championship office immediately after play.

ETIQUETTE
In the interests of all, players should play without delay, leave a bunker as you would expect to find them, replace divots and repair pitch marks.

INSURANCE
The entry fee includes cover in respect of the competitor’s legal liability in the event of causing injury to another person or damage to third party property. An excess of £15 applies.

PRACTICE GROUND
There is a warm up practice area for which competitors may have one basket of balls free of charge. Players are restricted to using mid and short distance irons. Ball tokens are required for the ball dispenser which can be collected from the Starter Number2/3 Box. The practice balls have been adjusted to restrict their flight. Competitors are not permitted to practice with their own balls on this area.

Practice balls must remain within the boundaries of the practice ground. Please note that clubs must be selected accordingly.

A practice putting and chipping green is available adjacent to the 1st tee on No 2 course and there is also a putting green in front of the Members’ Clubhouse but chipping onto and around this practice putting green is strictly prohibited.

Any player failing to adhere to the rules governing the use of the practice facilities may be subject to reprimand under the SGU conditions of etiquette.

PRESENTATION
There will be no presentation at the conclusion of play. Vouchers will be sent to those finishing in the top 3 places.

RESPONSIBILITY
Gullane Golf Club and the Scottish Golf Union do not accept responsibility for players’ property during the event.

DIRECTIONS

From Edinburgh
1. Head out of Edinburgh on the A1 heading East.
2. Turn off at the junction for A198 at Tranent.
3. Follow the A198 through Longniddry and Aberlady.
4. Follow Scottish Amateur AA signage.

From North Berwick
1. Head for Gullane on the A198.
2. Go through Gullane Village and follow
3. Follow Scottish Amateur AA signage.
